Assessing the Evidence of Effectiveness of Home Visiting Program Models Implemented in Tribal Communities

Describes the review process and findings for a similar systematic review of home visiting program models implemented in tribal communities or evaluated with AIAN families and children. To assess the evidence of effectiveness of culturally relevant models that have been implemented in tribal communities, the HomVEE team conducted a systematic review focusing specifically on studies relevant to tribal communities.

 

A Look at Strengthening Families in the States

Reports on the overall implementation of the Strengthening Families initiative and offers an analysis of successes, challenges, and next steps. This resource highlights that sustaining and enhancing the work nationally will depend on the following elements: continued evolution of the Strengthening Families National Network among states, an effective platform for sharing tools and resources, attention to ensure that evolving practice continues to be grounded in research, and methods for sharing the evolving knowledge base about the approach.

Where Does Our Work Intersect? Systems Integration Tool

Assists in deciphering where organizations intersect in areas such as target population; services budgeted for youth, and governance power. What is Being Done to Address This Issue? Resource Mapping Tool

Helps map resources to identify gaps in programming, duplication of services, and programs that may not be producing desired outcomes.
