Launching in July: The Most Comprehensive Collection of SS/HS Tools and Resources. Ever.

Here at the National Resource Center, we work every day with Safe Schools/Healthy Students grantees on strategies for sustaining and expanding their work at the state and local level. And we’ve known for some time that we need to “walk the talk” about expanding the SS/HS model nationally. That’s why we’ve been busy for over a year crafting and refining the most comprehensive online toolkit imaginable to implement and sustain the SS/HS model anywhere in the U.S.

Launching in July, the SS/HS Framework Implementation Toolkit (SS/HS FIT) is designed to help schools, communities, and states choose the right resources they need at the right time—from building partnerships to conducting a needs assessment; from writing a logic model to selecting evidence-based programs; and from evaluating the work to communicating successes.

The entirety of the FIT is based on the SS/HS framework—an approach that’s been tested and refined in school districts and communities across the country for more than 15 years. The SS/HS FIT’s three phases (planning, implementation, and sustainability) feature online learning modules with video trainings, guidebooks, checklists, workbooks/worksheets, templates, examples, and even audio podcasts. All resources are customizable and available for download.

Look for more news about SS/HSFIT’s official launch in the coming weeks. We hope you’ll share it freely with everyone you know!
