The Pueblo of Laguna is a federally recognized Native American tribe primarily situated in Cibola County, New Mexico. The population of the tribe exceeds 8,700, including approximately 500 enrolled children ages birth to 8. More than 50% of tribal members reside in the following six villages: Encinal, Laguna, Mesita, Paguate, Paraje, and Seama. The mission of Pueblo of Laguna Project LAUNCH is to strengthen the collaborative system that supports the overall wellness of young children and their families in the villages through family support and parenting education, mental health and social-emotional wellness, early care and education, primary care, and systems development.
