Through the Georgia Department of Public Health in partnership with the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, Georgia Project LAUNCH works to ensure the social, emotional, and behavioral health of children from birth to age 8 and promote safe and supportive families. The pilot community located in Muscogee County (Columbus, Georgia) was identified as one of the top 25 “at-risk” counties in Georgia. Project LAUNCH Georgia seeks to provide increased access to screening, assessment, and referrals to appropriate services to meet the county’s social and emotional needs and to promote success in school and life.
