Grantee Developed Resources

  • Massachusetts Toolkit Release
    • The Early Childhood Mental Health Partnership created the Early Childhood Mental Health Toolkit: Integrating Mental Health Services into the Pediatric Medical Home, a comprehensive collection of tools and tips for incorporating early childhood mental health personnel and practices into the pediatric primary care setting. It addresses topics such as building a core team to champion children’s social and emotional health, providing family centered care for children’s social and emotional health, creating medical home systems to support mental health integration, and financing and sustaining the early childhood mental health model of integrated care. The toolkit provides guidance on assessing resources, tools to support hiring practices and training staff, identifying areas of need, sample referral criteria, templates, examples of activities, and more.
  • Massachusetts Creating Capacity
    • Describes how Project LAUNCH Massachusetts is working with pediatric practices to ensure that all children’s needs are being met through their primary care. This resource provides a snapshot of the impact this work is having in the community and Boston metropolitan area, describing how staff are trained and supported and what this new face of primary care looks like for the children and families involved. Case studies are provided as well as direct quotes from parents, family partners, and pediatricians. The role of the early childhood mental health consultant/clinician is also discussed and how the entire team works together to support the needs of the children and families.
