Mark your calendars and register for the next Project Launch Communication Online Learning Event, “Branding and Content Marketing: Apply Commercial Marketing Strategies and Tactics to Your Project Launch Work” scheduled for Tuesday September 27, 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm EST.
Branding may not be the first thing you think of when it comes to communicating for sustainability, but branding can be an important way to convey to your state, territory, tribe, or community that you plan to be around well after grant funding ends. A brand, however, is far more than a logo and a tagline. It’s a promise to deliver what your audience wants and needs—and that’s where the tactics of content marketing can help. Content marketing—the latest “buzz” in marketing—can help you deepen your brand and keep that promise to your audiences. This OLE will use examples from the commercial marketing world to walk you through brand strategy and content marketing tactics that you can apply to your own efforts.
As a participant in this online learning event, you will:
- See why strategic branding of your work supports sustainability
- Learn how “content marketing” (a.k.a. “owned media”) can help build your brand
- Explore how examples from the commercial marketing can be applied to your Project Launch work
